Montclair, NJ – (July 9, 2026) – Mountainside Medical Group proudly announces the addition of Mara Berganovsky, MS CNM WHNP-BC, a dual- certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women throughout every stage of life. Mara expands the group’s comprehensive women’s health services by offering full-spectrum midwifery care that supports an inclusive community of patients from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and beyond.
Mara provides comprehensive full spectrum women’s health services, including prenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic care, wellness visits, family planning, patient education, and physiologic birth support. Her clinical interests include breastfeeding support, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), breech birth, and empowering women with the education and resources needed to make informed decisions about their health and their bodies .
She earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University, where she completed extensive clinical training in prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic, primary care, labor and delivery, and integrated women’s health settings. Mara also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University. Her well-rounded background includes years of dedicated nursing experience at leading institutions like Mount Sinai Morningside, Englewood Health, and Davita Dialysis.
Embracing a holistic, “inside-out” approach to wellness, she also brings her eye for detail to the aesthetics field with Peachy Studio. Mara’s care philosophy is centered on building a meaningful, collaborative partnership rooted in shared decision making. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where every patient feels genuinely heard and deeply supported through every milestone while also delivering holistic, evidence based, patient-centered care. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based medicine, personalized care, and meaningful partnerships with patients to promote lifelong wellness.
