Who Are We
Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center provides compassionate spiritual, religious and emotional care to people of all faiths or no faith tradition. As a caring presence within our community, our professional chaplains have a sense of open-mindedness and sensitivity to the diverse population we serve. For this reason we are: compassionate, dedicated, competent, responsible, accountability, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and treats all people with respect, dignity and humanization. We provide effective spiritual, religious and emotional care for our patients, families, caregivers and staff; offering support, comfort, presence, a safe space, and an attentive listening ear.

Chapel Services
- The Interfaith Chapel is located in the main lobby.
- The Interfaith Chapel is open for Prayer & Meditation (8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
- Prayer Services are offered weekly, and special services upon request.
- Interfaith Chapel Catholic Mass: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday at 12:30 p.m.
- Protestant Chapel Service: Tuesday, Wednesday at 12 noon
*Chapel services can be viewed live on the Hospital TV Channel 6.

We Are Here To Help
We welcome clergy of all faiths to visit their hospitalized congregants. We provide courtesy parking at the Hospital parking deck. Clergy are asked to please take the parking ticket and have it validated at the Information Reception Desk. If your Congregant is hospitalized at Mountainside Medical Center, please let us know how we can help to make their experience comforting away from home.
