Dr. Carrasco brings a thoughtful, inclusive approach to primary care, focused on collaboration, accessibility, and meeting patients where they are in their health journey.
Dr. Carrasco views healthcare as a partnership between physician and patient, emphasizing clear communication and mutual understanding. Dr. Carrasco earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, Virginia and completed her Family Medicine residency at Sovah Health in Danville, Virginia, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, she played an active role in supporting resident physicians and fostering collaboration between trainees and attending physicians.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo SUNY in Buffalo, New York, earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Her osteopathic education informs her comprehensive approach to care, with attention to both physical health and the broader factors that influence well-being.
Dr. Carrasco provides full-spectrum primary care, treating both acute conditions and chronic illnesses across all age groups. She has a strong interest in caring for patients in the LGBTQIA+ community, including care coordination for gender-affirming care and is dedicated to ensuring patients feel respected and supported. As an osteopathic physician, she also offers Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) as part of her clinical practice when appropriate.
