About Robert Montemurro, M.D.

Dr. Robert J. Montemurro, a laborist at Mountainside Medical Center, has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 1994. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.

Dr. Montemurro specializes in high-risk pregnancy, pelvic and minimally invasive surgery, vaginal reconstructive procedures, and hormone replacement therapy. The first physician in his family, he pursued OB/GYN for its blend of primary care, surgery, and other specialties, driven by his passion for improving patients’ lives.
