About Kulvir Nandra, M.D., FACS, FASCRS

Dr. Nandra serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Cancer Liaison Physician, and Director of Colorectal Surgery at Mountainside Medical Center. He has received multiple awards for his instructional excellence and has presented Telehealth research at national conferences.

Driven by a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Nandra approaches sensitive conditions with empathy and compassion, crafting personalized treatment plans that restore health and dignity. His team offers cutting-edge options including robotic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as simple in-office procedures for common issues like hemorrhoids—helping patients recover faster and with less discomfort.

After earning his medical degree at Florida State University, Kulvir Nandra, M.D. completed his general surgery training in Philadelphia, followed by advanced colorectal surgical training at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and in Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery (ABCRS).
